GenAI has taken the world by storm in the last 2 years. ChatGPT has had the fastest adoption rate for any product in the history of mankind.
Having said that, enterprises have struggled to adopt GenAI within their business. More than 70% of the GenAI projects have stayed in proof-of-concept stage and have struggled to go to production.
“Software is Feeding the World” brings you two white papers on Generative AI. The white papers were commissioned by Bayer Crop Science, and supported by Digital Green, Kissan AI, and Triaive.
In this first of two white papers, SFTW takes data from four agriculture focused organizations across different cropping systems, and regions of the world to provide a blueprint on how Food and Agriculture enterprises can get value from GenAI based capabilities. These organizations are:
Bayer Crop Science
Digital Green
Kissan AI
Traive Finance
The first white paper goes into the the practical aspects of thinking through first principles, developing use cases and personas, data & technological infrastructure, talent requirements, and risk management. If you are a business or technology leader in an AgriFood organization this report is for you.

The second report will come out in late March and will focus on value creation frameworks for GenAI based products in food and agriculture.
